Al Habtoor Group is a UAE-based conglomerate founded in 1970 by Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, initially as a construction and engineering firm. Over the following decades, the group diversified into several sectors, including real estate, hospitality, automotive distribution, and education, alongside a smaller publishing division. Al Habtoor Group is headquartered in Dubai and has maintained a presence in several international markets, including the United Kingdom, Austria, Hungary, and Lebanon.
The group's real estate division, Al Habtoor Real Estate, has developed residential and mixed-use projects in Dubai over several decades. Its most prominent project is Al Habtoor City, a mixed-use development on the banks of the Dubai Water Canal that combines residential towers with three hotels operated under international hospitality brands, along with a theatre venue. The group's hospitality arm operates a wider portfolio of hotels in the UAE and abroad, in partnership with international hotel brands including Hilton and Marriott.
Beyond real estate and hospitality, Al Habtoor Group has historically held automotive distribution agreements for several international car brands in the UAE. Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor remains the group's founding chairman.
